CAMP ST. HERMAN

FAMILY CAMP

Sept 30-oct 2, 2022

What is Family Camp?

Picture
Family Camp is an opportunity for your family to get away from everyday life and take a weekend as a family to grow closer to Christ, in the beautiful setting of the St. Methodios Faith & Heritage Center in Contoocook, NH on the shore of Clement Pond. At Family Camp, eating a meal together as a family is the norm, not the exception.
Not your typical vacation, Family Camp offers a mini-vacation without maps, lines for popcorn, or decisions over where to eat. Our flexible schedule gives you the choice of “doing it all” from canoeing to volleyball, or just taking it easy and savoring a good view from the waterfront.
Because you’re at camp, the day is measured not so much by hours, but by prayer—the day is bookmarked with Matins and Vespers in the camp chapel dedicated to St. George, with services sung by everyone present. Family Builder sessions offer practical, down-to-earth resources for keeping our families strong.
Visit our Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) for more details about Family Camp.

Daily Schedule

Family Camp will begin Friday evening with check-in & registration, followed by welcome activities. Saturday will be a full day at camp starting with Breakfast, Matins, Morning Program (Christian Ed), Lunch, Afternoon Program (sports & outside activities), Great Vespers, Dinner, and Evening Program. Sunday will begin with Matins and Divine Liturgy, followed by brunch and closing sessions
